Primary sources of the coronavirus spread are through saliva droplets or nasal discharge through an infected person coughing or sneezing. Research suggests that the virus can survive and remain infectious on porous surface for up to 24 hours. Additionally, on hard and shiny surface (e.g. glass, countertops, plastic or stainless steel), the virus remains active for up to 72 hours. As a result, frequently exposed surfaces such as door handles, desk surfaces and kitchen benchtops are the primary outlets contributing to its spread. It’s therefore imperative that these surfaces are sanitised & disinfected regularly to mitigate and minimise its spread.

They need to demonstrate comprehension, competency and compliance with procedures, processes, equipment (including PPE) and customer requirements prior to any on-site engagement.
